Fairly easy to build. I did it all on my own, took about 12hrs however I took several breaks and I was building 2 of these desks. It was easy to clean (my cats have made it their new hang out spot). It is also pretty short for a chair, but if you buy the extensions it would make a really nice chaise lounge to read a book on in the summer. It’s firm, but comfortable and supportive.
