I am not going to lie. I was leery, but my expectations were exceeded just on the packaging alone! Took me about an hour to put together, instructions were easy-ish to follow. The operation is smooth, very quiet when moving up/down. The wiring threw me off a bit, as the light controller is in the box with the desk and everything else is in the box with the frame. I am very pleased, it feels sturdy. Caution, the box with the frame is much heavier than expected, but you can tell quality went into the making. Didn't have to program the motors or calibrate them. The cup holder is a nice touch for sure! I do wish it came with a PC tower holder, but there was room on top for the desktop. I am a developer, not a gamer, but it's perfect for my setup! The price is higher than many of the others but I chose this one, because the top is a solid piece and not split like a majority of the others. I had been looking for the perfect desk for my home office for months! I finally decided on this one, even though I was a little hesitant because of the mixed reviews—but I’m so glad I went for it. I am able to fit my personal Mac, my work laptop and external monitor on it and still have roomI love that it has extra shelves and a storage area tucked under the L-shaped part of the desk. I was initially worried about the drawers being made of fabric, but they’re surprisingly sturdy. I have a few heavier items in them, and they’re holding up really well. Desk seem very sturdy and comes in good packaging. Instructions were semi clear to follow, but I would happily buy again. Material is are good quality and arrived in very good time.
