I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. The glass overhanging the counter is a great feature add too. Downsides: it was very frustrating to install this extremely heavy appliance just to set it up and see that they offered little spacers for the tiny gaps in the back--I didn't get to use them because I would've had to pull the range out again completely. I sticker saying "stop! Before install install spacers" would've been nice! Having a baking drawer like kitchenaid offers would be awesome instead of just a warming drawer on the bottom. And lastly. There are three speeds to the fan and we use the highest the most. Will caution that my contractor was surprised the opening to duct out was higher than he anticipated; mentioning this for anyone doing a remodel to ensure their contractor understands this before closing up walls in case any framing needs to be adjusted. The suction is very strong and operates on low sone level. The lights are very bright and create a very pretty shape on the backsplash . The 4 filters cover the entire pull-out area covering the entire surface above the burners on the cooktop. The installation was effortless. It required just a minor adjustment on the cabinet cutout. When not in use it is flush with the stovetop which helps create a flat seamless flow on the countertop. When we have used it, it works very well.
