By reducing surface water absorption, cracking, spalling, pitting, mold, mildew, algae, staining, and other damage and deterioration caused by surface water absorption will also be reduced.

I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. This review is on the delivery experience not the machine. The delivery team was polite, but the experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. It took roughly 1.5 hours to install a washer and pedestal because they were not familiar with how the pedestal installs. Despite clear issues during setup and their reluctance to take guidance, I ultimately had to determine the correct installation steps myself just to get the job finished. After they left, the washer repeatedly threw an error, which took additional time to troubleshoot only to discover that they had failed to turn the water supply valves on. This added to an already unnecessarily long and difficult process. To make matters worse, their driving on the property was reckless. They drove at an unsafe speed on the driveway and nearly caused a head-on collision with a vehicle exiting the property. I have never had a batch disposal before. I have always had the traditional ones that require a switch to turn on. The only real issue (and its not much of one) is with how our sink is in the kitchen island there isn't a good spot to set the plunger when not in use other than in the sink itself. It is powerful and I am really happy how well it does its job. There is no flap that covers the opening to the drain like on traditional disposals. I thought this would be an issue having it open and silverware falling in. With our drain off to the right it really has not been a problem. Although I did have a fork fall into it the fact that the disposals "neck" between the sink and the bottom is long so the fork never fully fell into the disposal it just stood straight up. Also not having that flap covering the disposal makes it much easier to see at a glance if anything has made its way in that should be there. It is noisy but not bad, just as I expected as from traditional. I like the safety of it not turning on unless the plunger is in. We have young kiddos. Just makes me feel better. This has worked out great we had a electrician install this. I enjoy the three-speed fan for low medium and high it appropriately pulls up the steam and smells of cooking. I really enjoy the feature that you can pull the grates down to be able to clean all of the grease off. The only tricky part is getting in between the slats as there's no way to completely disassemble those that I've been able to figure out at least so you do need to soak them for a while and use a sponge in between each slat so it is a little time-consuming but typically have only done it like four times a year. The metal can be quite sure if I did cut myself so be cautious. The lights that are built into this I don't think would be bright enough to illuminate an area we had additional lights put in to our nook. The fan itself is not terribly loud you can definitely hear it but it's more quiet than our last one and I don't think it's reasonable to think a fan is going to make no noise.
