I had the previous model and the door broke from opening to clean the filter. Therefore, it was nice to see they changed it to a pull out feature to clean the filter, which is better. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hello Frigidaire. I bought this unit along with the gallery window unit because I know that your Gallery units are quiet. Both are used in bedrooms - one needed to have the portable as it is an egress for fire dept. Anyway, in the past the portable units I bought from LG as well as De'Longhi ALL had a coupler to snap into place. This helps to keep the hose where it needs to be. Your unit even has the tabs to snap said coupler into the unit. BUT there was not one provided. Am thinking Frigidaire forgot this as opposed to thinking it was not needed. The hose does not attach to that base and could easily come out. I hate to duct tape it as it will definitely leave sticky residue and frankly when I pay this much for a unit, I expect it will have all connectors included.
