It's exactly what my wife wanted, and she's happy with it. For installation, the gas line and the electrical wire have to share a very small space at the bottom in the back. Advice: Don't try to use a gas line that's longer than 36" (1m). Both a 3-prong and a 4-prong electrical wire were included. I just love my new cooktop. The design makes it really easy to clean. In terms of performance, I noticed that cook times are a little bit shorter. The gas dial has a wide range, so I can go from very low to high flame. Also having an additional burner is great. I can have multiple meals going at the same time. I replaced my 20 year old grill with this Napoleon 700 series grill. The technology on this grill has come a long way compared to my old grill. Cooks great, doesn’t flare up like my old grill. It has an insulated hood that keeps a consistent temperature. I used the rotisserie for the first time this weekend and it worked great. I couldn’t believe how quiet it was. With the back infrared burner it cooked very evenly. The lights on the grill work great for cooking at night and they look pretty cool too. Pretty great especially for the price. Heats up fast. Especially with boost mode on the burners. The knobs are nice and easy to use, yet have locking things that make them hard to accidentally turn on; good combination and harder to design well than it looks. Range included a huge really nice air frying tray that I love use. Smart Functions are optional which is good because I will never connect this or any appliance to my wifi. Cook top has proven durable and easy to clean so far. The interface for the oven and other functions is pretty good. Lots of little things that could be improved: * The largest burner is 11". Weird size. Please try to just make it 12" since that is a common skillet size. * Easy clean seems fairly ineffective. * Air fry mode is ok, but convection bake seemed to get better results for air frying. * The touch interface goes to sleep and needs an extra tap at first which is slightly annoying. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having cooked on this new cooktop for 6 weeks, I can happily report that I am enjoying it more than I did my Dacor (on which I experienced a scary igniter failure). Some of expressed concern about the arrangement of the burners and their BTU levels, but that is magic in my view. There is so much customization available that it takes a bit of time to readjust what to cook where -- but that's part of the fun in my opinion. The "stops" that exist between levels of flame, as well as the numbers assigned to each, make it easy to remember what number flame to use next time for that purpose. The only worry I have is scratches because the installer caused one near that simmer burner while setting the cap on and of course now that is there forever, sadly. I had to wait for this model to return to inventory, but the wait was worth it. Highly recommend this Bosch Benchmark model for its beauty, sure, but also for its performance and ease of use!. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bosch benchmark induction range is a great piece of hardware. I love how fast it brings water to a boil and how well built it appears to be. The glass overhanging the counter is a great feature add too. Downsides: it was very frustrating to install this extremely heavy appliance just to set it up and see that they offered little spacers for the tiny gaps in the back--I didn't get to use them because I would've had to pull the range out again completely. I sticker saying "stop! Before install install spacers" would've been nice! Having a baking drawer like kitchenaid offers would be awesome instead of just a warming drawer on the bottom. And lastly.
