By reducing surface water absorption, cracking, spalling, pitting, mold, mildew, algae, staining, and other damage and deterioration caused by surface water absorption will also be reduced.

I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. Miyabi 5000 FCD Shotoh, 13cm blade. The photos, or petty knife, is ideal for the preparation of smaller cuts of meat and fruit, and vegetables. It has a fine carbide steel core with a hardness that gives very good cutting edge retention and initial sharpness. The core is embedded in 48 layers of steel which gives each blade its unique Damascus-design pattern. Razor-like sharpness is achieved by a three-stage grinding, sharpening, and polishing process called Honbazuke honing. The entire length of the cutting edge can be used as there is no finger guard. For best care, wash by hand, and maintain and sharpen using whetstones. We’d recommend using a wooden chopping board as opposed to glass, ceramic, or stone boards as these will dull the cutting edge.
