This is a great little dehumidifier. We got it for our basement because our old one was getting old and starting to have problems. This one is smaller and a lot quieter. The compact feature of this unit is great and it did not produce any notable scent and some brands do. I bought this because as an insurance policy for my new building space after being exposed to mold previously. All controlled from my phone, which is a plus. I can choose the level of humidity, which is helpful in the summer when I don’t need as Much. This dehumidifier works amazing! We had a humidity issue in our house and this fixed it. This dehumidifier works so well it actually made our smart thermostat send alert that humidity had dropped below normal.
