I recently purchased the Donati 9-Drawer Dresser and wanted to share my experience for anyone considering it. First, be prepared—this is definitely a project if you’re assembling it on your own. I started putting it together around 7 PM, worked until about 2 AM, then picked it back up the next day around 1 PM and finished around 6 PM. It’s time-consuming and can feel a bit challenging at times, but I actually enjoyed the process and found it rewarding to see it come together. There were a few minor issues with some of the wood panels having small chips, but nothing too noticeable once everything was assembled. Overall, the dresser is very sturdy and feels well-made. The finished look is absolutely beautiful and makes the effort worth it. If you’re patient and don’t mind spending the time assembling it, I would definitely recommend it. Enjoy effortless organization and timeless mid-century charm with this 9-drawer dresser.

The dresser is definitely pretty, and I mainly bought it for the look of the drawer faces, but overall it does feel a bit cheaply made. I’m not completely confident in how well it will hold up long term. One thing I did appreciate was that it came with clips that screw into the back panel to help stabilize it, since the back just slides into grooves and would otherwise feel flimsy. That said, I do wish the back was made of solid pieces like the top, bottom, and sides for better durability. The drawers also aren’t very deep, and because of the way they’re built, you can’t really overfill them or push clothing down to make more fit. They work fine for lighter storage, but they don’t hold as much as I expected. For anyone considering this dresser, just know that it does take quite a bit of time to assemble. It comes with a lot of pieces and a ton of hardware.
