There was confusion at Wayfair about this being a set, but customer service resolved the issue and sent the second dresser. One of the drawer rails did separate after being built, mainly because they are glued on, but it was a simple fix with 2 screws. The drawers are a little narrow and not meant for anything very heavy, but glide and close very nicely. We had the dressers professionally built and I would recommend that if possible.. Debra. This item is 4 separate pieces. It was very easy to put together and arrived very quickly. I expected the drawers to be shallow given the depth of the piece so expect that. The shelf in the larger pieces is stationary but is adjustable in the smaller side pieces. I was worried the oak/oak would have a yellow undertone in it but it does not.
