Our first base had a small crack in one corner, most likely due to shipping damage. Wayfair immediately replaced it and the 2nd base had stronger packaging material and came in good condition. The drain is very slightly off centered, which is how it was meant to be, but since we were replacing an older base that was centered, the hole and shower drain didn't match up. We purchase a small offset drain attachment which worked perfectly. The base is sturdy and strong and with the rings on the underside for support, it did not need any filling material. It’s a beautiful shower door. Heavy. I was hesitant on ordering based on a couple of the low reviews. We didn’t install it ourselves our contractor did. It was difficult to find the shower door I wanted for our tiny bathroom and this was perfect. Lovely shower door. The curve at the top is lovely. We installed our shower door to open inward but the instructions show to have it open outward. FedEx did a poor job of dropping this door off at our home but it wasnt damaged even though they were rough to the box. This glass was perfect for my exact space! I did a self install and I'll say that you have to be extra careful with the corners, glass can still break just touching a hard surface in the corners so always have it resting on stacked cardboard before final placements.. This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is.
