This side board is gorgeous in peron. I purchased two of them to serve as a long TV console with the TV mounted on the wall just above it. The color is rich. The shelves are spacious. I added a few wooden baskets inside to keep stuff neat. Note, the entire piece isnt wooden but the legs and front are. It took the installer about 2hrs to put both pieces together. The instructions were clear, however, there are SEVERAL non pre-drilled holes, so if you do not have a drill this will be extremely hard to build - lots of force required to screw in. This distressed finish is very durable and easy to touch up.

We were looking for something with more of a vertical footprint to make space in our bedroom and this was just right, size-wise. It looks great too, and it's nice to have real wood. Assembly took quite a bit of time, especially since there weren't predrilled holes for a lot of the screws, but it all came together. As others noted, it's good to be aware that the back panel is unfinished, so this dresser must be set up against a wall (which is necessary for safety anyway, with a secure fastener included). I bought it in walnut. It looks really nice and seems very sturdy. I put it together my self (55F) over the course of a few hours after work with no issues. The only issue I had was that it had a defect in the glaze on front. The manufacturer offered a nice discount, so I decided to keep it. I ordered 4 of the large book cases and 4 of the smaller ones same style to make my built in unit for my office. The shelves were very fast and easy to put together. I was able to modify the smaller shelves to stack them to complete the built in. All of the shelves were matching in stain and build consistency and the materials used were of very good quality for what i was trying to accomplish. Very well built shelving units.. Mike. Florida.
