I really like that when you close the "drawers" it clicks into place and feels like it will keep dust etc out. It is well built, heavy and sturdy and holds a ton of stuff. The wheels on it are perfect so you can move it around as needed. The top also makes a great cat bed for a larger kitty. This cabinet is constructed of solid oak, hardwood, and oak veneers, with a clear chemical-resistant UV finish. The right-hinged doors have a lock that locks both right and left-hinged doors with a three-point locking system. The unit has two fixed shelves and four adjustable shelves. Shelves are 1"thick, and the weight capacity for each shelf is 40 lbs. per sq. ft.

While the design is classic for these cabinets, the multiple that were ordered for an education wing were all slightly off in alignment. The doors needed to be fixed and some of the backings need to be secured back on. Wayfair replaced 2 damaged in transit without any hassle.
