It was just what we needed, but then we moved....... We are still using it in our new place, but boy can I see what a space saver this would have been in her other room. Not that her current room is large or anything. My soon to be 9 year old daughter is enjoying it , but compared to another bunk I bought through wayfair, it is far less sturdy. I tried to jam it hard into a corner to add as much support as possible. My husband and I also double checked all the connections, but you can feel the pressure on the ladder as you climb up to the top. This bothers me a little, but she is still small enough. It might be a bigger issue for a teenager. For me, it is a notable issue, so I'll place this piece at a 4 star. However, overall, the piece does the trick on space saving with a desk included. My kid loves it! The bed feels solid and sturdy. It took 2 dudes from Angie 3 hours to put it together, so it’s really worth it to spend the extra 150 and get it done unless you like to spend half the day putting it together. This bed is AWESOME! My 9yo daughter loves it and so does her 11yo brother. I wanted to find something to maximize her small bedroom and allow flexibility. Right now she has a little sofa under it, but as she grows, we’ll be able to rearrange the space into something different! She went from hating her room to loving it. It did have a small flaw on the white pieces, but it was small enough to not worry about, considering what the kids will put it through. Cannot recommend this bed enough. The bed looks great and feels sturdy once fully assembled. I love the extra storage space and how it maximizes room layout. However, my order was missing some parts, which was frustrating. Wayfair’s customer service was helpful, and they offered me a partial refund, but I still had to take the time to find and replace the parts myself. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase, but I recommend checking for all parts upon arrival. If everything had been included from the start, this would have been a perfect 5-star experience. Seems like a solid bed. Instructions were a little difficult to follow and it seemed like there may be some pieces that had holes drilled on the wrong side so that the outside wasn’t completely “finished” without holes facing out. Seems pretty stable, but instructions indicate one person on the bunk at a time so I wouldn’t try to push the weight limit (250lbs). My 8 year old is very happy with it otherwise!. Sarah. BC.
