Purchased the shed last year and it was a great size for storing bikes and yard tools in our small backyard. It was a bit tricky to put together with the tiny screws that kept dropping, and we needed two people for some of the sections, but I love how it looks, and it feels very solid even after a rough, snowy winter. #sweeps. The shed is very nice looking when assembled, however, the assembly directions were a nightmare. My very experienced handyman figured it out but it took some time. First, the metal is so thin on this shed it was like putting together a tin foil shed. the panels will bend and dent from simple handling. 2nd. the instructions state to secure the shed to the floor after it is built. the problem was, after I had every panel installed, minus the doors, I started to work on fastening it to the floor. A 10 mile an hour wind gust came and tilted the shed causing it to buckle and fall down.. I had to throw the entire shed away. I have never seen such poor quality craftmanship put into a product. I feel like I got ripped off by this company. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. No way should a 10 mile an hour wind blow a shed over... and if the company states it needs to be fastened to handle this wind, then it should be the first step in the directions... not told to fasten it last.. We have this shed for 2 years now and it is holding up fantastically. Putting it together was not difficult, only thing I would recommend is to spread everything well out and sort the panels out. I put the shed on a gravel and pavers slab, so water from underneath stays out. Space is good for what we needed. Was way easier to put together than I expected from reading other reviews. Also I was able to get every single hole to line up unlike all of the other people too. Maybe thats because Im a female - 37 yr old female who put this together alone. I found not separating the plastic washer part from the row easier to do rather than trying to hold onto the washer and screw I just held the washer next over (see random picture showing what I mean). I havent put the doors on, but dont expect an issue. Im looking forward to how this holds up in Denver, CO. Another thing is there seems to be a clear plastic over all of the metal parts, the manual didnt say if youre supposed to take those off. After reading several reviews I was a little leary about purchasing the storage shed but the price was right so I took a chance. Over all I found it to be a nice shed for the money. Not the easiest to put together because the instructions weren't the easiest to follow but I'm pretty handy and got it together in a day. The tin is very sharp so handle with care. The parts came packed fairly well and there was no damage or dents to the metal pieces. Among the complaints in the reviews that I read were that there were not enough screws to complete the job but that wasn't my problem. I had several screws left over. But if I do have a complaint it is that the screws are so small I had a problem putting the little nuts on the little screws. Another problem is the illustrations are so small sometimes it's not clear what you are to do. There is no text instructions, just illustrations. Wayfair was great to deal with; gave me a great price, had great communications and got the package to me very quickly. I recommend this shed and Wayfair for the reasons I've listed. But again. be very careful handling the metal pieces as they are very sharp. In fact they include a pair of mittens to use when handling the metal. But you can't work with the mittens on.. Anonymous. I thoroughly read the reviews before purchasing this. As many have said, it’s good for what it is. My partner and I put it together in less than 2 hours. Assembly was pretty straightforward, although my partner noted that: 1. not all of the dimensions were exact, “not square”—i.e. we couldn’t fit all of the slats into the top shelf area even if we wanted to. Fortunately we were going to skip 1 or 2 slats anyway, as others have done, so that our broom would fit inside. 2. We also noted that the instructions weren’t complete: they don’t have a step included at all for inserting the bottom floor of the shed. Although it just slides in, so was easy enough to figure out. 3. He said the wood felt like pine wood (cheap and fragile.) Hopefully won’t be an issue as it’s mostly just tasked with looking nice and hiding all the garden supplies on our small apartment deck. Plus being so light weight made it easy for the two of us to lift it through the sliding glass door. 4. In particular he did not like that the holes weren’t completely drilled. Besides being annoying, this may have contributed to one of the screws going through the board and poking out the other side (the sharp end is on the outside of the shed and exposed, so we’ll need to use a wire cutter or something to trim it down). Photos included of this. 5. Some of the stain came off on our fingers as we assembled. Wear gloves if this is a concern, but it washed right off. Seems there’s no clear coat seal on it, so that may be necessary to survive the elements of nature (rain and snow namely.) TL;DR full price may be a little high for a light weight, imperfectly measured item. More worthwhile if purchased on sale. However, it fit the bill for what we wanted (an aesthetic, functional cover up for an eye sore pile of garden supplies) and the issues are tolerable or fixable.. Nicole. Roseville, MN. Received the item very quickly in one box. Some of the items were mislabeled. The instructions were helpful however it referenced colors we didn’t receive and it didn’t always indicate the direction as though the parts were interchangeable. We put it together and had to flip them around. Ex make sure the brown side of the roof is outward, our roof was black and the holes didn’t line up so we thought we had the wrong part. My husband figured it out, I would have given he got the hang of things and I learned my role… pass the hardware and part.. it worked out fine. It’s very sturdy and no need for anchors or weights.
