Good NESS! I am all over the place on this review. Let me start by saying that I love the look of this stool. It’s classy and feels very sturdy. It arrived with some pieces already assembled which doesn’t happen that often. It really only should have taken about 8 minutes to assemble, BUT…the screws were very hard to put in, particularly into the wooden back. I was only able to get 2 of 3 fully screwed in, even with a power screwdriver. Then, when screwing the footrest on, the hole is on the backside and it’s like playing Pin the Tail on the Donkey to find the screwhole. But, eventually, I got them all in. Then, the chair was very uneven. We finally saw that one of the end caps on the legs was upside down and that was an easy fix. (This was one of pieces that came already assembled). The wood grain and leather is quite nice. The leather is not shiny. The seats are firm probably will soften in time because its leather. The backing is a good height with a nice cure. Im 5’7. The brass at the bottom does’t look cheap. I would have liked a little more cushion in the back to rest. I paid 560.00 each because I have a business staging rooms and it was discounted.
