I know the measurements are clear in the description, but this cat tree is massive! Bought it for our bedroom and decided to move the cat trees around and keep this cat tree downstairs and we all love it and all 4 of our cats will lounge in it together and there’s plenty of space so there are no fights over cats taking each others’ spots. It’s very sturdy, I’ve had it for almost three years and it is so stable even with two “kittens” who are now over a year old (and very hardy eaters) chasing each other up and down it. This is a quality made cat scratcher, which my cat only uses as a perch. I discovered that she does not use scratching posts (she uses the area rugs for her scratching needs). But I need to mention that the base shouldve been made larger, as it almost toppled over the first time my small cat jumped up on the perch, and it spooked her. You could maybe secure it to a wall for stability, although it doesnt come with any hardware to do that with. Or put a heavy object in the middle of the base to make it more secure. My cat has since learned to jump on the perch from the bed, which is a little bit higher than the perch. Bottom line is, unless you can make it more stable, I wouldnt recommend this scratcher if your cat is large and a zealous scratcher, or older and has trouble jumping up (thus, the danger of pulling it over on itself, like mine almost did).
