The frame stands on black metal tapered dowel legs, and it's wrapped in genuine leather in a warm brown hue with nailhead accents. Pls have a note, all the areas of the seat with which you come into contact is made of 100% top grain genuine leather; the outsider back and arm (where you don't touch) is made of the matching PU.

When I saw this light advertised, I thought the $3500 was way to much for the light.. It is not true alabaster.. I could not find anything else as big and Wayfair had a deal on it, so I pulled the trigger and purchased it.. It took about 3 weeks to get here. When it did get get here the box was HUGE!! The delivery guy are great and will get it to your front door, but you on the hook from there.. Oping the thing up I see why the box is so big.. It very very well packed.. Unpacked it and moved it up to where it needs to be hung.. You really need to plan for this light.. It's Heavy.. I think the documents say 127lb but it feels like more.. I had to hang this thing 14' in the air.. I had 2 guy helping with a couple of ladders and it was hard.. Make sure you do some planning when you want to hang it.. You will also have to make sure your light box will hold this thing.. The standard one will no way hold.. Please make sure you have the right support in the ceiling.. I have a 2X4 I screwed a heavy duty bracket into.. The standard Box would NEVER hold.. You should also try and use clean gloves.. I got the edge a little dirty and it is very hard to clean.. Once it's up it looks really good.. Its just what the space needed and worth the price.. I was glad it was not real stone.. When I first receive my order the frame was broken and Wayfair wanted to give me a 25.00 discount for a picture that was 170.00 dollars make no sense. Ulysses S. Grant’s quote - “No terms except an unconditional and immediate surrender can be accepted.” - perfectly reflects both his leadership style and the broader strategic aims of the Union during the American Civil War. This quote was delivered during the Battle of Fort Donelson in Tennessee, in February 1862. Grant had surrounded the Rebel fort, and when Rebel General Simon B. Buckner requested terms for surrender, Grant famously replied with this line. The Rebels were forced to surrender about 12,000–15,000 troops, making it the first major Union victory of the war. The phrase became so iconic that it gave Grant a new nickname - "Unconditional Surrender Grant" - which helped shape his reputation as a no-nonsense, relentless commander who demanded total victory rather than compromise. This quote came to symbolize the Union's hardening stance: the war would not end through negotiation, but only through total Rebel surrender. It underlined the shift in strategy toward "hard war" - aiming to break the South’s will to fight.
