The Prehung doors took quite a bit to get them up and fitted and screwed in. But they're in and they look good. The prehung part is not a solid frame, but pieces that have to be assembled, screwed together and mounted. We got it done and did 3 doors. It's nice having doors when company comes. Beautiful door and very heavy. You definitely need to have someone install that is strong, as the door is heavy. You also need to make sure you're hitting studs or that you have a support beam installed. I ended up having a support beam put in. Also, you should be aware that this door sticks out from the wall a bit so you will have a gap on either side, which is not ideal - but I'll live with it as it's just a pantry.. Karen. this is advertised as a prehung door and it is not. it comes in 3 boxes, one with the door in it, one with the frame in it(in 3 parts), and one with the hinges and door knob. there is no door know hole in the door, there is no notches where the hinges go in either the frame or the door, everything has to be cut out or drilled out. spend the extra money and buy one that is already put together as a real pre hung door.. Exactly what we needed. Great sturdy doors with a slight grain in them make them look even more expensive. Lots of pieces assembly took a while but was worth it and we opted to paint them as an accent to our white walls. They took the paint very well! Just make sure you have proper anchors to mount the track or block out properly in the wall before Sheetrock. We had to shore them up a little with bigger anchors in the Sheetrock.. Jen. The product was good and at a fair price. The initial delivery schedule was 7 to 10 days for four doors. After two months I received only two of the doors and the other two were still on backorder.
