It's better to have only three additional edges on back (front and two sides), the backsplash side should not have additional edge. This is a very solid piece. The top comes in a separate box, the sinks were packed in the cabinet together in one smaller box. You have to set the sinks and then set the countertop which is definitely a 2 person job.
