I love the simplicity and low profile of this patio umbrella base stand! It says it’s 40 lbs. but it feels much heavier than that! It was extremely easy to assemble, five minutes! I’ve had my umbrella opened since I installed it and we’ve had rain and wind for the past week and this umbrella has not wavered or moved an inch! I’m in the process of finding a new outdoor table with an umbrella hole, and I have no worries that this base will keep the umbrella steady. I like the fact that it come with several hole adjustments for various size poles. I had to use the 1.5 inch hole tube. Update, have a new table with the umbrella hole. It is really small, looks a little ridiculous between our rockers. I didn't check the size close enough, by the photos, it looks like a nice sized side table. It's more of a plant stand size. The legs bow a little, the lower shelf is a bit larger than the top. The color matches our chairs well. I purchased it using some store credit, so it wasn't a lot out of pocket.
