These are really pretty and whimsical at nighttime. They should definitely be put in an area that gets plenty of sun to work optimally. The packaging is terrible, however. Both times I ordered them, there wasn’t any outer packaging, just the manufacturer’s box, which wasn’t even taped shut on the ends. The second set I received was missing parts, which had clearly fallen out of the package during shipping. Came upon this when looking for DIY pole holders. Purchased the larger size and am very happy. Product came with clear instructions and was easy to put together. Please let the marker dry for 10 minutes before exposing it to the elements. If you want to change the writing, the marker will come off with rubbing alcohol or fingernail polish remover. I've seen tags with the plant name on the front and the date they planted or received on the back. What a cool idea! Markers come blank with no words or letters on them. This allows you to customize as needed. Oil-based marker is included with every order!
