These multi-packs of my copper plant markers will be a great addition to your indoor or outdoor plants and gardens. These can also be used as table markers for weddings, meetings, or other events. An oil-based paint marker is now included with every order! The product measures 10" tall and 2.5" wide. The actual copper part is 1” tall and 2.5” wide. The legs measure 9” tall and are made of galvanized steel. Simply write on the tag with the included oil-based paint marker or use your waterproof printable labels. We’ve had the best results using the included marker that is specifically designed for writing on metal and holds up extremely well outdoors. Please let the marker dry for 10 minutes before exposing it to the elements. If you want to change the writing, the marker will come off with rubbing alcohol or fingernail polish remover. I've seen tags with the plant name on the front and the date they planted or received on the back. What a cool idea! Markers come blank with no words or letters on them. This is a great raised garden bed. We did get chicken wire and put it under the entire structure, so moles and gophers couldn't come up through it, and believe me they have tried. The flaps are great when harvesting the back side of the plants. I didn't give this a 5 star, because the gate doesn't stay shut without propping something on it or placing a rock pile under it. Overall, I am pleased. I appreciate the thin plastic coating on the brown frame pieces, but prepare to allow extra time to peel it all off. The cover is similar to a medium weight shower curtain liner. It held up well during our first rain, but it is not fair for me to assess its durability long run. We could not figure how to attach the smaller midsection supports for the brown frame without putting them on the outside. This leaves bare silver metal strips showing on the outside, we don't mind the look, for added sturdiness. Also, this may not keep my critters out without some sort of additional piece of screening. I want to open it most of the day in to get moving air inside, but that leads to the possibility of critters. Last, I put a planter in to keep my smaller plants from getting shaded by the frame. it may not be an issue for most, but it is for my lettuce.
