This gazebo came well packaged. The instructions were spot on and we had it done in 14 hours. It is very sturdy and well thought out. I suggest that you seal the wood before putting it together as others have said. We mounted this to a pre- existing concrete patio. The mounting bolts were a little small so we changed out the way we mounted it to the slab. This thing is not moving! I had one missing part and I called them on a Sunday and a holiday weekend at that and they answered. I gave them the serial number and the part number and the gal said it will arrive in 2-5 days. This is a beautiful gazebo. The instructions are in pictures so if you need words for direction you are out of luck. It took my husband and I a total of 24 hours to put it together and he is a mechanic. The total time was partially because of our unusual placement in which the gazebo extends further than our patio space. Also, we secured the front posts in an unconventional manner by placing them in large pots which were then filled with heavy materials. There are what seems like millions of screws and other pieces. There were quite a few "disagreements" while assembling this item which was entertaining for the neighbors. We both agreed that if anyone ever asks us to help them build a gazebo we will politely decline. All parts were present but we made sure of this prior to starting the build. There were a few times that we could have used the help of another person when building the frame but stepladders helped immensely. Once my husband was able to get all the pieces working I do like the final look. The legs are not solid wood but wood pieces. However it is still heavy and sturdy. No damage to wood. This gazebo came out amazing. This is not something for a beginner to put together though. It came on a shipping palet with 5 very heavy boxes. It took my husband about a week to get it together.
