This gazebo came well packaged. The instructions were spot on and we had it done in 14 hours. It is very sturdy and well thought out. I suggest that you seal the wood before putting it together as others have said. We mounted this to a pre- existing concrete patio. The mounting bolts were a little small so we changed out the way we mounted it to the slab. This thing is not moving! I had one missing part and I called them on a Sunday and a holiday weekend at that and they answered. I gave them the serial number and the part number and the gal said it will arrive in 2-5 days. Purchased this last spring and finally put it together when the temps came down in Az. This is a high quality product, fairly easy to assemble, It's possible to assemble with one person but would not recommend it, I did it, with a pair of Jaw Horses to hold the post up and fabricated a tool to pull the roof panels down to the rain gutters to attach them. I'm a licensed aircraft mechanic. The 3 reasons I purchased this unit is the wind rating of 75 mph, not made in China, and the 10 year warranty. I needed this carport to use as an outdoor workspace for upcoming renovations. Its the next best thing to a garage. I do recommend installing the roof canopy after the roof frame has been assembled. Assembling the roof canopy after the frame was fully erected proved to be cumbersome. Highly recommend using a four-step ladder or 6 ft ladder. I was able to assemble alone. This car port looks great and functions great. We got the larger size and it fits my husband’s truck perfectly. The instructions were easy to follow, but just be prepared to leave a lot of time to assemble this. Start to finish it took us a long weekend with mainly 1-2 people working on it at a time. Once built, it’s not super heavy duty, however we did secure it down to cinderblocks at every post to add stability and keep it more secure with wind. Overall, very happy with purchase.. April. It is actually a pretty solid car port. high ceilings. I do agree with that one reviewer - if only they made the bolts a couple mm longer, it would make set up so much quicker.
