I’ve already had to demineralize the unit which takes time and water. To prevent this from happening so quickly I will try to make sure the waste water is emptied promptly after filtering. I’m leaving the canister empty most of the time. I’ve had some trouble getting the plastic water canister to ‘lock’ in place when full of water, finding I have to push down more than is intuitive. I’m 75 so this thing is a bit hard for me. I didn’t realize the compartment for clean water and used water were in the back. It’s heavy to turn around for me and lifting the water is difficult. You must wash the whole thing every week. My sink is high, newer apt, I’m 4 11” and that’s lifting at chest level. I love this thing! Easy to use and works so well!! I’ve already cleaned multiple rugs and our bedroom carpet and it looks so much better! It dries really quick on the quick clean mode. But the deep clean definitely does a better job. It’s light weight and easy to set up and take apart for cleaning. The solution it comes with are tiny bottles so make sure you purchase extra to use!. This was a breeze to apply. Simply shook the container to mix the contents and then applied with a paint roller. Avoided work during direct sunlight hours. Re-applied until the container was empty. When the first rain came I noticed the water bead up and roll off of the driveway as expected. I will probably do this yearly to maintain the concrete. Best price I could find also.. Earl.
