Steamspa / SWCorp does not service their products. When something goes wrong you have to open up the unit and troubleshoot yourself or pay a contractor to do it. Mine worked for about six months then stopped producing steam. Warranty covers almost nothing. It doesn't cover "parts", so I'm not sure what it covers. Customer service offered to sell me a new one at a 20% discount or buy new heating elements and drain valve since the tank is not draining. None of this is covered under warranty. Product is manufactured in 40' rolls of 2, 3, or 4 foot widths and we cut them to order. Once you get the mat, if it is too big, it is easy to cut down the length of the mat. Soft vinyl ribbons joining the threads are easy to cut through with a utility knife. However if you wish to cut down the width of the mat - this may be a bit of a challenge as you will need to use a saw.
