The Aquasure AS-HS48FM Harmony Series of Whole House Water Softening System is built to provide soft, scale, and spot-free water while reducing iron stains for the entire house. The filtration system came in two parts from quite a distance away. They took a while but they arrived safely from California to Ontario. Put the unit together easily following the instructions. Installed it in the same area as my previous filtration system using a pair of flex hoses and it has been working well for a few weeks without any issues. Only thing to mention is the first cycle that I put it through following the startup instructions and the water in the house was not the best tasting, after next cycle it was fine again.. Anonymous. It will be effective in water hardness up to 15 GPG. This wall mounted unit is designed to be installed prior to a water heater and will provide a flow rate of up to 14 gallons per minute (GPM). The standard inlet and outlet connections are 3/4” NPT and has a design pressure of 125 PSI (6.6 bar) with a maximum operating temperature of 113°F (45°C). The melt blown, polypropylene cartridge has graded depth filtration to provide exceptional dirt loading capacity with high flow rates and minimal pressure loss. The proprietary scale prevention media is designed specifically for extreme water conditions found in high temperature filtration applications. The media is designed to last 6 months.
