We purchased this for a new home build that had a slide in range in an island. We did not want an exhaust hood that hung down from the ceiling and this one was perfect for a flush mount in the ceiling. It was priced considerably less than other brands that had white glass finishes. There are a couple discoveries we made however. It did not turn on once the power was brought to the new build. We called Awoco and were told to check in the black box under the stainless grill, for a white connection that sometimes is disconnected. That solved the problem and the unit lit up and worked with the remote and the voice commands. Customer service was very helpful and seemed to know exactly what to look for. There is one other thing to be aware of with the voice command, occasionally it picks up what it believes to be a request for action and starts talking, asking for directions. We thought we were hearing voices until we realized it was the exhaust fan talking. 100 perfect choice. With many bad discs in my back I often need release from pain. This is my go to solution. Excellent pressure from the JETS and the colors when the lights are on are absolutely amazing. They rotate colors and fill the room with the colorful accents. Candlelight makes the experience even more perfect. The armrests are perfectly poised for relaxation while you’re body pain pains are relieved. It was lightweight and the installers were able to get it set up fairly quickly. We believe it has added value to our home because it transformed that bathroom into a beautiful space. We just had it installed yesterday. Recommend that you get a print out of the specifications and the installation. From what I was able to read in Wayfare’s description section, we would be able to install the unit flush with the ceiling. And unfortunately, because I didn’t have printed specifications we had to drop down the unit a foot from the ceiling. Not the inconspicuous flush mount unit and I was hoping for. According to my contractor, this was a very complicated unit to install. To be fair this is a relatively new category of range top hoods that are being offered. Pleased with the noise level, but have yet to cook with it. Read reviews from other previous purchasers, and a common statement was how small the remote controller was. The noise from the fan doesn’t bother me as much as it may some others but for the price I did expect it to be more quiet but it has 2 powerful fans!! I love my Proline 30 1000 CFM ducted wall mount range hood in brushed stainless steel. I have been a restaurant owner for 30 years and know the necessity of a good hood system. I havent been so lucky in my house. Ive only ever had an over the range microwave fan system. When our house flooded I had the opportunity to upgrade our kitchen and I jumped on getting a real hood for my range. It has been amazing! I absolutely love it, it has been installed for just over three months. I use it almost every single time I turn on my stove range. It is quiet enough for home use and extremely strong. It pulls all of the smoke, steam, and smell smells from the air efficiently, without sucking the air-conditioning out of the whole house. This range hood is high quality. I bought a cheaper version a few years ago for my old house. I liked it, but now that I have this I can see where the cheaper one was lacking. This range hood is thicker steel that wont dent as easily. The oil tray is steel, the baffle filters feel commercial grade, the large duct size really moves a lot of air. I am glad I spent the money. Its loud but quieter than the old one. Relatively quiet for the amount of air it moves. The instructions are good, mounting is easy and secure.
