Steamspa / SWCorp does not service their products. When something goes wrong you have to open up the unit and troubleshoot yourself or pay a contractor to do it. Mine worked for about six months then stopped producing steam. Warranty covers almost nothing. It doesn't cover "parts", so I'm not sure what it covers. Customer service offered to sell me a new one at a 20% discount or buy new heating elements and drain valve since the tank is not draining. None of this is covered under warranty. It keeps things simple but still gives you a better bathing experience. The 67-inch rectangular shape gives you enough room to stretch out without taking up too much space in the bathroom. Since it’s a freestanding acrylic bathtub, it’s easier to handle during installation and doesn’t feel too cold when you step in. The surface feels smooth, and the design stays clean without trying too hard to stand out. The whirlpool system comes with 9 jets along with 8 air blowers. Together, they move the water around your body in a steady way. It’s not too strong, but enough to help you relax after a long day. You can just sit back and let it run without needing to adjust much. There’s also a waterfall faucet included. The water flows in a smooth way, which feels different from a regular tap. It’s a small detail, but you do notice it once you use it. The control panel is simple, so you can manage the settings without spending time figuring things out. Built-in LED lighting adds a soft glow inside the tub. It’s not too bright, but it helps create a calmer setting, especially in the evening. This will be one of the hidden splurges that I will always be grateful we went for. Lets face it ordering a steam generator is the most boring part of any shower renovation. So here are the highlights: This unit is fast , quiet, and has quite a few whistles if you will. Area on steam head for essential oils and a wonderful chromatherapy light, two control panels (inside and outside) and the auto drain. I purchase the in line filter too ( florida has hard water) . In all extremely pleased. Only reason it did not get a 5 star rating. Looking for a black matte finish on the steam heads and controllers, not available and the oil rubbed bronze look on these is just okay.
