It’s not the most expensive descaled but so far so good. Puts on a nice light show too. The manual is well written. This appears to be manufactured in Atlanta. Not thrilled about the wall wart power supply and would had preferred an internal version. Edit after a few months, my 20 year old plumbing has been descaling en mass. I replaced my water heater, also 20 years old. The water is coming out with the lime sentiment. It quickly settles. But I’m hoping it finishes. The product obviously works. I-spring’s customer support is exemplary and I am quite pleased with the filter system that I purchased. I also love the fact that the customer support isn’t outsourced to a foreign country. I bought the i-spring jumbo spin down sediment 50 micron filter because of the design and re-usable filter. However, after we installed the system we soon realized that the micron size was too small for our needs. I reached out to the customer support to learn if they had any recommendations. I had the pleasure of working with Sean from customer support who took a genuine interest helping find a solution for my situation. He took the time to review my water lab results and other material that I presented and concluded that I needed a larger sized micron screen and sent me a 200 micron filter. The design of the product is solid. I have the automatic flushing version. I do wish that there was an option programmed into the settings where you could drain the water longer than 90 sec intervals. The product did come with a manual knob but we had trouble getting that to work so we have been using pliers to turn open the valve. I will be recommending this product to a couple of my neighbors. Thank you I-Spring and Sean! 08/22/25 Update After 3 years of using this product it is still holding up well. Recently the o-ring shrink which caused the system to heavily leak. I went to the website to order a replacement o-ring and discovered that they were out of stock due to tariff issues. I called iSpring and had the pleasure of talking to Michele. I’m 75 so this thing is a bit hard for me. I didn’t realize the compartment for clean water and used water were in the back. It’s heavy to turn around for me and lifting the water is difficult. You must wash the whole thing every week. My sink is high, newer apt, I’m 4 11” and that’s lifting at chest level. I think for younger folks it’d be great but when it’s done cleaning the water there is about a days worth for me. Otherwise for what it is it’s great! It does take up one counter at my apt.
