Very impressed by the design of this trash can. It doesn’t have one of those unnecessary inner liners most cans seem to have, which is a huge plus for me. If a bag leaks with this one all you have to do is take off the top containing the opening mechanism and rinse out the bottom before replacing the top. Simple. It’s all made of some pretty thick plastic, so it feels quite substantial and solid. The opening mechanism works perfectly but, of course, the true test is how long it lasts. We’ll see. I also wanted it to be made of plastic because the stainless steel models are so easy to dent, and then what can you do? No worries here. I’m actually coming from a 20-year-old Rubbermaid unit with a little swinging door, so I’m making quite a jump in quality and technology here. It’s about time. Wish me luck! ;-). David. Reno. Wow what a difference! This range hood replaced one we had that seemed like it was from the 1990s. We got the 36 inch wide and it fit our under cabinet space perfectly. Great improvement in color & style over previous range hood. Luv the up dated styling. Bottom of cabinet isn't flush so couldn't use easy brackets. Two person install was easy & quick, though. Airflow is strong which explains an expected loud noise level, in high position. Fits great below cabinet. Nice profile.
