We don’t have a lot of wall space so we don’t have a tv in our living area. I wanted something that would allow me to incorporate a tv when necessary but stow it when not required. I chose this bc it wasn’t expensive. It could have been great had the designer added two holes for cables going from the top where the tv is and below where the 4 outlet strip is. Instead, the cables are exposed and tied down in the back. They could have been channeled down through the stand. Perhaps I can find someone to MacGyver it. Also, in hindsight sight, a shelf below the tv would have allowed for better control of a DVD player by remote. Easy enough to put together in spite of incorrect parts. The stand does everything as expected and is very sturdy. We have a larger/bulkier projector. I was worried the tray wouldn't be able to hold its weight, but it seems ok with the fabric band that was provided. The only thing I don't like is that the stand goes up and down, but there's no capability to change the actual angle of the projector/tray. You can only use it flat. Pretty good! Wobbles a tiny bit, which is to be expected for something on a swivel rather than legs holding it up. So I probably wouldnt have a hot coffee on there alongside my laptop just to be safe, but it definitely does the trick otherwise.
