It’s powerful enough to cool our entire garage (and we live in the South-so it definitely has its work cut out for it). The heater doesn’t exactly heat the whole room when it’s super cold out, but it definitely takes the chill out of the air and warms it sufficiently to make it possible to use the room in winter. I have an old water tank on it's last legs. My reasoning for buying this GE tank was to prolong the life of my existing tank. I'll keep it in site of the old hot water tank.
