I love this hood. I couldn't find a black one in local stores, so I was happy to find this one. When it first arrived it was dented, but the manufacturer replaced it. Our contractor vented it outside the house. He had to put some trim at the top to cover the holes, but it looks great! Once I had it installed I turned it on and the fan was not working. After moving it around and slightly pushing it in it worked just fine. Very disappointed! Purchased this item based on reviews posted unreliable. My main reason for purchase of this item was ease of installation and it offered a night light, however there was no parts list included so I have no idea what the wattage of the bulbs is or where to purchase for replacement. The bulbs do not screw in, they plug in. The top of the unit is not flat preceeding the front angle as shown in the diagram. The unit sticks out farther than the cabinet. Stainless formed with lots of up and down impressions which makes cleaning difficult. Need to cover with some type molding possibly. No Contact information or website for manufacture. Wow. Our contractor said he had never seen anything like it. It's super heavy and you can feel it's solid. My only hesitation was that the spout for tub filler is going to be a lot higher than usual, but I think it'll work. I bought two colors, the Unlacquered Satin Brass and the Matte Nickel. Both are stunning. Satin brass as a very subtle shine, but maybe a bit too rose gold-like for our bathroom. The Nickel is a lot more transitional and neutral, think I'll end up keeping it..
