I like that you have to long press the buttons to turn on the elements so children wouldn’t accidentally turn on an element. The biggest difference is the speed, we genuinely could not believe how fast water boils on this unit. With induction, water boils in minutes, and cooking overall feels much more efficient and responsive compared to the long heat-up times we were used to. The Power Boost feature is especially impressive and makes a noticeable difference when cooking larger meals or trying to get things going quickly. I also really like the smooth, streamlined surface without traditional knobs. It gives the cooktop a modern look, and combined with the Matte Guard finish, it’s very easy to keep clean without constantly noticing every fingerprint or smudge. Another neat feature is the ability to link two burners together for a griddle. We haven’t tried that function yet, but it’s great to have the option available. Have this for about 15 months. Using Barkeepers for stainless steel to clean but over time, some spills have become impossible to remove. Any recommendations on other acceptable safe cleaners? I have black stainless steel. The cooktop works well. Too bad the hortizontal piece on which the knobs sit become very hot when the stove is in use. Need to be careful.
