This is the perfect complement to our new GE oven, it fits perfectly on the oven. We have not used it extensively but it will definitely make it easier to clean because you can remove it to clean. I purchased this same item 5 years ago for a rental cabin and am purchasing it again for me next one. I didn't want to pay a lot for it, but also wanted it to look good and last, so chose this due to the good reviews. When I had the first one installed the plumber said he had never heard of the brand but was surprised at how good it was. The original brushed chrome still looks beautiful.
