[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 30" Induction Cooktop with MatteGuard™- Well it was quite a journey with this new cooktop. First off, we needed all new pots and pans for it to work- didn't know that prior to. So, it took a little while before being able to use new cooktop, but, we are getting more used to it day by day. We are coming over from natural gas cooktop-as we had an old style electric many years ago(and it was terrible). I still love the gas cooktops, but this one surprised me as it is very good and easily comparable to a gas one. It will boil water faster and cook better- with the correct pans. We have no bad things to say about it- only small thing, wish there were only one of the smaller burners, rather than two(the burners will only cook around the pan or pot's actual cooking surface on bottom of pan or pot. We are adjusting to these things as we get more acclimated to new cooktop system. We like it very much though. The cooktop system is very sleek and easily can be wiped down after usage. I've lived in this home for almost 8 years. The water about twice a year seems to be "shocked" with chlorine. Now my water test according to the state report is some of the cleaner in the state of NC, but the taste is horrible. The TDS tested at 43 and the chlorine was almost as high as pool water level. So my fiance and myself, after much research, decided on ispring. Cost, customer reviews, install and how it tailored to our issues were why we chose it. Chlorine was drying out our skin, causing itching, and damaging our hair and probably damaging our mitochondria if I had guess. Immediately after I got the whole house system installed and the system purged it was night and day. We've notice more energy, less stomach issues, our hair is easily brushed/combed. We can cook and bathe with the same tap water. I also added the RCC7AK for reverse osmosis to drink. The reverse osmosis water IS BETTER THAN ANY ALKALINE BOTTLED YOU CAN BUY!. Jamie.
