Sealed lower element , convection included. Easy to clean inside with a wipe down. And it was white exterior which I wanted to match the rest of my kitchen. The brushed copper hardware are beyond beautiful.They are GE, sent tools to do it and it was super easy.The only issue, was that it took several weeks for it to be delivered. It was considered an appliance and had to be signed for. This was a great upgrade from my old extremely outdated vented range. It was on back order so I had to wait 3 weeks before it arrived. Once I had it installed I turned it on and the fan was not working. After moving it around and slightly pushing it in it worked just fine. Expensive but worth it to me. I also purchased the gold brass trim kits (stupid expensive too) and could not be happier.They also made the handle available for my dishwasher and I wanted all of my appliances to match. This was just installed last week and although we've only used it a short time all seems to be working well. Someone else mentioned they found the controls a little finicky and I would agree, you have to touch them just right. I was very unhappy about about the glide out rack as I was told it was full extension and it actually is only about a 3/4 extension. It also didn't come with a broiler pan.
