I love my mount it. I placed it behind my tv unit that I am building and I can connect my tv and have all the cables out of sight. My original plug was way out of the way. I love these lamps. I am not a "modern" furniture lover, but these go great in my transitional house. I bought this cable tray because I enjoyed it had a method without having to drill a hole. Super great for that reason alone, particularly if you have a minimalist desk with glass like I do! The metal tray kinda appears bent which I cant tell if its like that because of shipping or because its that type of cheap metal that flexes a bit when you tighten it to something.
