It is slightly firm (I think why it’s held up well) though it would be much more comfortable with giant couch pillows. We are huge loungers and we have put in a lot of hours on the couch and it’s holding up very well. The couch is a huge hit at family gatherings because everyone fits! The couch is ok for the price. It was easy to set up. The beige is a nice beige. I was worried it would be too light. The fabric feels cheap. The cousins do zip off to clean. This would have gotten a 5star if the right upholstered set came to us in full. Half was beige 1 and the other half was in in beige 4. Had to call and ask for slip covers to match the intended ones ordered....but when they came, it still didn't match with the originals so I had to call and get a whole new set of covers sent so they all will match. Whatever you do, tell them to note that the set all matches to avoid this. if it does happen to you, ask for entire slip cover for all 8 seater to be replaced to ensure they all match.. Ha. Florida. So… I ordered this ottoman because I saw it at a distant friend’s house. She told me which product number on Wayfair it was. It’s a great looking ottoman. The quality is top notch. Unfortunately FedEx delivered it with the box completely falling apart and dragged it on the pavement concrete and it got dirty. So I was going to just scrub it clean but upon opening it is completely dented in and the red ribbon that they pack with it has totally run all over it. Very soft to the touch, very cozy! Getting the peices to attach is a little bit tricky, but it’s not complicated whatsoever. Just the couch doesn’t have a lot of room underneath so it’s hard to see what you’re doing. But it’s very cozy, love this navy blue color. This set has a casual feel. It’s big and comfy, but really low to the ground. I purposefully purchased a set with a low back because I was putting it in a room with windows 2 feet from the ground.
