This desk is countertop height. I did not read the measurements as I assumed it was a standard desk height. I took 5 inches off each leg with a saw and it looks great. A little more work than I wanted to do but this is a solid well constructed desk. The top is preassembled you just have to assemble the legs. Very easy. The desk is great overall. I really like the finish and it’s heavy which, for me speaks to the quality of the build. It was a relatively easy process to assemble as well. Therefore, this very large and heavy desk was delivered by one man. I honestly don’t even know how he got it up on the front porch all on his own.
