This desk is countertop height. I did not read the measurements as I assumed it was a standard desk height. I took 5 inches off each leg with a saw and it looks great. A little more work than I wanted to do but this is a solid well constructed desk. The top is preassembled you just have to assemble the legs. Very easy. I really like my new desk. It’s great in my small home and I like its modern style and function. It fits my monitor and surface dock, plus a small lamp. There is enough storage in the sliding doors for planners, file folder divider storage, and the large drawer has lots of space, if organized well. I paired down from a large desk, but haven’t regretted it at all. I added some bins underneath to hold hanging files that won’t fit in my desk anymore.
