Overall, I really like the new hardware. Seems like a quality set and I had no trouble rekeying the lock. I wish the finish were more durable as I scratched it during installation. Also, the directions failed to mention which direction the washer went on (bottom of handle) and I spent far too long trying to figure out why the concealer cap wouldnt stay on. I’ve always had Baldwin handle sets for the craftsmanship. These are always very heavyquality pieces . This time I went with the Venetian Bronze for a new house and it’s perfect. The finishes are very high quality and really last in tropical, humid, and harsh climates. Beautiful! I wanted a burnished gold handle to accent my new, pink door color. Although not quite as "gold" as it looked online, it still makes a great addition to my "new" front door. The install was pretty straightforward. I did have to run to the hardware store, though, because, if you don't have a long handle like this, you need to drill an extra hole into the door. Great quality and love the simple design. I didn't use this on a door that was made for a dummy handle, it was a working handle before.
