This Spartan Helmet took my eye right away! Initially, I thought of both of my sons who love this period of time, but in the end, I kept it for myself! It is made well, but when you first take it out of the plastic wrap it does have an odor, maybe of paint. It looks like a mixture of bronze and black. The size looks comparable to a typical helmet. On its stand it appears to be about 16” high. The big decision is to whether have a frontal view or a side view, showing off the feathers of the helmet. I fell in love with this onsight. I love egyptian art decor. I finally purchased it. When it finally arrived it was damaged but Wayfair made things right. I would suggest when packaging and shipping items like this to surround it with styfoam and bubble wrap and then put in the box.
