Beautiful rug!! Perfect for my kitchen. I have an update. This rug was beautiful until I followed the washing directions. Washed it according to directions and laid it out to dry. The rug has released from the backing in a lot of places. I hate I paid this much for washable rug for it to only come apart when washed. I have a large front load washer. It's exactly what I was looking for in my new living room. Perfectly soft and enough texture in the design that it doesn't feel "flat" but won't be the focal piece of the room. Super soft and the no slip backing is pretty good. I like the long runner I bought as the pattern - which is kind of busy - has space to breathe. The colors are a bit more purple than I thought but overall it works in my kitchen. The smaller one I bought (18 x 24) is not as great as the pattern fels cluttered.
