When I first took the plastic packaging off the rug, I wasn't sure I was going to like the rug. It was a little lighter in color than I expected. The background almost looks grey, and the edge is a light beige. It also has more red in it that I thought it would. Once I placed the rug in my dark chocolate color drenched office it completed the look I was trying to achieve. It is a thinner rug which is perfect for my rolling office chair.
