This is eye catching. It is a nice edition to my bed room where I was able to find a matching nightstand, and the dog crate for the other side of the bed. It was easy to put together and there were extra parts in case one was lost or not functional. The cage itself is not made for a dog that does not want to be in it. There is no metal on the inside, It is easy to use and my dog (miniature pincher) has ample room to stretch out or lay on his side. I am pleased with the purchase. It arrived in a box that was dented and broken (not the senders fault most likely the delivery co) BUT because the sender packs it tightly with lots of Styrofoam there was NO damage to any of the parts. And because they are meticulous with packaging very well nothing was missing. They take very good care in packaging the item to keep it from any damage or loss. If there is bad reviews it’s most likely people that do not know how to put things together or are expecting a designer piece for the price of a discount store item. Couldnt come in more pieces. Its a project, a rather long one. Id advise using a drill that has a torque function and hex bits to put it together. Using the supplied Allen wrenches sounds like a nightmare. That being said once its together its solid enough. Better than using cheap chain link and zip ties. As I plan on a few years of use (through winters) like anything Im going to throw a few cans of spray enamel at it now thats its up, and yeah, A better slide lock for the door. Great for international flights. Flew from Texas to Colombia, and back, with my 62lb dog and it met all the guidelines and held up well. This is the Extra Extra Large size It’s very secure once assembled with the bolts and wingnuts, and clamps, that enclose the perimeter of the crate. The wheels were not allowed while traveling but were handy once the crate was disassembled to make it easier to move around. Improvements: - The area where the wheels attach got pretty beat up, would be nice if there was something else to put on top while not using the wheels. - the handles on top are plastic, and although they should be used just to move the top of the crate, one was missing when I returned back to Texas.
