After a full month of use all is well so far. We tend to be fairly gentle with our sink and pans (stainless steel) in it while washing. We don’t leave food items sitting in the sink for long periods of time, and have not had any issues with it discoloring/staining. What a gorgeous sink. It’s just as the pictures if not better. We haven’t installed it yet but I’m sure it will be great. The chiseled front looks good, it has a grey color in it since the front is not treated. If you wanted the front to be black you just need to seal the front with a wet sealer. I absolutely love this black farmhousebarnyard-style sink. It completely transformed the look of my kitchen and gave it that modern rustic feel I was going for. The interior ledge is designerd to hold the included wood cutting board. This helps make tasks more efficient and keep your countertops clear. This sink is reversible so the apron style you like can be displayed. One side has an arched design on its apron front while the other has a 2 inch high horizontal ledge. The smooth glazed finish is scratch and stain resistant and show off the sink's elegant lines. Sides of sink have a slight taper from top to bottom. There are many benefits to fireclay. Just had this sink installed in my newly remodeled kitchen and it is beautiful! Had the garbage disposal installed with absolutely no issues. After months of researching material, i decided on the fire-clay because i had read it stays very white and bright. This sink is the real deal. It is very heavy and sturdy. Definitely a 2 person install due to the weight of it unless you have a professional install it.
