I have not been able to have my contractor install this just yet as we are waiting for the soaking tub to be installed first. However, I am very impressed by the weight and quality of this 18” grab bar. It will be much needed as the soaking tub I also purchased from Wayfair is about 26”high and will require me to step over the side to get in, so a grab bar is essential. The hardware that comes with this includes two matching gold screws for each end of the grab bar and two wall anchors for each end. My contractor plans to install this into studs for added safety. I needed to replace a Kohler corner tub in my primary bath that took up a huge section of my bathroom and I needed a tub that had presence/would fill the space well without looking skimpy. I also had a unique drain placement I needed to work around. I ended up deciding on this bathtub due to looks and the offset drain. Delivery was easy and the tub was extremely well packaged and somewhat resembling the Ark of the Covenant from "Indiana Jones" in its giant, wood crate. The finish on the tub is pristine and there isn't a single blemish on the tub, so the packaging was excellent. My remodel is ongoing, so I will need to update this review once it's complete.. Krista. This was a perfect solution for my elderly father, who is a very tall and heavy man (6’4”, 225 lbs). It is a solid bench and chair with arm rests and seat back and belt which made him feel very safe and secure during his bath.
